High Performance Plastic Additives - Unilink
Unilink Liquid secondary aromatic diamines are known for their slow reactivity, low toxicity, and ease of use.
Its use results in the general improvement of the polymer strength - in terms of tensile strength tear and elongation properties.
Unilink Diamines find wide application in many polyurethane and polyurea systems. Its ability to be incorporated in additional urea groups as compared to a primary hydroxyl enables it to bring superior strength and load bearing performance to standard HR flexible foams- often at lower foam density and improved strength and dimensional stability to PUR and PIR rigid foam systems.
In non-cellular applications, Unilink diamines can provide a range of very hard or very soft polymers with extended pot life, improved heat resistance, and cold temperature properties. Addition of Unilink diamine can also lower surface tension of the uncured polymer system to enhance substrate wetting, flow adhesion. Room temperature cured coatings, sealants and elastomers can all be cured effectively with Unilink diamines as well as fast polyurethane and polyurea spray formulations.
